GENERAL ANTIQUES FAIR
A national antiques
fair was opened on Saturday November 28th and will
continue to take place each Saturday along December 2009 from 10:00
A.M. until 18:00 P.M.
The fair will be
presented at the theater building of Beit HaGefen, 33 Shderot
HaZionoot, Haifa.
What's in the fair?
Antique galleries and
collectors will present and sale their items (art effects) such as:
Porcelain, Crystals, silver wear, jewelry, Judaica, Israeliana,
paintings, furniture and more.
A spectacular
exhibition of Afghani and Persian hand made rugs (carpets).
Free of charge
personal (private) objects estimate.
Throughout the fair
Saturdays there will be free of charge objects estimate (up to three
items per person) by the specialists Yossi Pearl and Haim Shachar.

THE ARTISTIC DIRECTION OF PROF. AMOS LANIR.
OPENING
Dear music lovers,
The music festival within the
"Holyday of Holydays" is taking place for the 16th year,
with the collaboration of the ensemble music group in Haifa.
According the festival's tradition we
shall play Christian Liturgical music.
I hope to see you, music lovers, in
churches and in halls. I am confident that the music will contribute
and promote a real dialogue and co existence between the believers
of the three religions in Haifa, which is the purpose of the
festival.

GUIDED TOURS
HAIFA TOURIST BOARD TOURS
Every Friday starting November 27th until December 25th there will
be on foot tour at the German Colony and in Vaadi Nisnass. The tour
will start by following the Templers from the German Colony and from
there through the alleys for a tour in the subject of religions,
holydays and art in Vadi Nisnass.
EACH SATRUDAY starting November 28th until December 26th there will
be a tour of "The Holyday of Holydays". The tour will be by busses
and will emphasize the various religions in Haifa.
The tour will include a panoramic view on the Bahai Gardens, a visit
to the Stella Maris church, the Ahmeds mosque and from there back to
the German Colony.
It is advised to pre register over the phone 04-8535606 extension
112/101. The availability of the tours is conditioned by a minimum
number of registers.

Beit ha Gefen tour
A guided groups tour at the gallery of Beit ha Gefen and through the
alleys of Vaadi Nisnass in which art works of Arabic and Jewish
artists will be presented in Installation, painting, sculpture and
digital printings.
The tour also includes Arabic and Jewish poems and writers
literature and poem segments.
The duration of the tour: about an hour and a half.
THE TOUR TAKES PLACE ON THE FESTIVAL SATURDAYS DECEMBER 12TH,
DECEMBER 19TH, DECEMBER 26TH AND THROUGOUT THE WHOLE YEAR.
